Upon receiving the notification, you can collect your passport, containing the visa, from the visa application centre where you applied, or it will be delivered to you (if you chose the delivery option during your application).
What should I do if my Netherlands visa gets rejected?
If your Netherlands visa is rejected, you can reapply for it. However, it is important to address the reasons for rejection before reapplying. Depending on the reason, you can approach the rejection in one of the following ways:
Minor issues: If your visa was rejected due to minor issues, such as missing documents or incorrect information, you can simply correct these mistakes and reapply.
Major issues: Visas that are rejected due to serious issues, such as a criminal record or past visa violations, can be more difficult to resolve. In these cases, seeking professional help from visa services is recommended to ensure the best approach before reapplying.
Appealing the decision: If you believe your visa rejection was unjustified, you have the right to appeal the decision within 4 weeks of receiving the rejection notice. It's important to act promptly and provide a well-structured appeal to increase your chances of success.
