What happens once my Estonian visa is approved?
Upon approval, you will be notified of the decision via mail or SMS, and your Estonia visa will be stamped or placed inside your passport.
You must then collect the passport containing the visa from the Estonian Visa Application Centre (VAC) where you submitted the application, or it will be delivered to your doorstep (if you opt for courier service at the time of application).
What should I do if my Estonia visa application is rejected?
If your Estonia visa application is denied, you can reapply after addressing the reason(s) for rejection outlined in the visa refusal letter. Common reasons for Estonia visa rejection:
Incomplete documentation: Missing required documents or providing incorrect information can lead to rejection.
Unclear purpose of visit: Failure to clearly define or justify your visit’s purpose may result in your application being declined.
Travel history concerns: Authorities may be wary of applicants with limited travel history or past visa violations.
Criminal record: A history of criminal activity can severely impact your chances of approval.
Alternatively, if dissatisfied with the outcome, you can appeal by submitting a written application to the embassy within 30 days of receiving the decision notification.
Apply with Atlys to ensure timely Estonia visa appointments and minimise the risk of visa rejection.
